City Hash House Harriers 3rd annual run like a pirate - Hash 3rd Thursday of September, Run Like a Pirate Day.
The third annual Run Like a Pirate saw 20+ registered salty ’ashers run amok through Melbourne’s streets, parks and laneways, followin’ a pirate map in search of the booty — rum, port an’ ale!
Arrr, ’twas a truly crackin’ night. The crew frolicked upstream past Crown, sailed by Flinders Street and Degraves, then commandeered a tram to RMIT before meanderin’ back through Hardware Lane, Postal Lane, Guildford Lane, Bank Place, Aurora Lane and Gunpowder Walk.
At the end of Ti Tree Walk, the thirsty scallywags struck their first treasure — rum!
On On! The pack then staggered past the Seafarers Mission, looped along Maritime Place and discovered their second bounty at Seafarers Rest — port this time!
By now the weary pirates had their eyes firmly fixed upon the Boatbuilders Yard, temptingly close across Seafarers Bridge. But alas! A cry of “Ahoy!” sent the crew onwards past the Seafarers Crane before turnin’ back along South Wharf.
At last, the pirates made port at the Yard and claimed their final, hard-earned treasure:
ALE!
Arrr! A fine night of runnin’, rum, port, ale and piracy upon the streets of Melbourne.
On On, ye scurvy ’ashers! ☠️🏴☠️
Buccaneers included Pog, 4 Pack, Goose Hole, Dad Stroker, Rubba Hole, Klingon, Dog shit, Fiona, Fiona’s Cabin Boy, Two Bottoms, RingPuncher, AhSole, After Birth, Tasty's Toy Boy, Y2ky Jelly, Lovely Linda, Late Cummer, Red Bull, Wild Rider, Chicken Dickin, and MyCalfIsSoreUs .

Buccaneers included AhSole, Dad Stroker,Dog Sh!t, ECC, Goose Hole, Klingon, Pog, Princess Mary, Ring Puncher, Skinny Tool, Unnamed Ziya, Unnamed Mairead, Unnamed Mark, Unnamed Orlaith, Unnamed Sam, and Unnamed Teddy.
